How to Get There
If you’re flying in
Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)
This is the most convenient international airport. From CDG, Épernay is easily reached by train or car.
Paris Orly Airport (ORY)
A good option for European flights. Travel into Paris city centre first, then continue to Épernay by train.
Getting from Paris to Épernay
By Train
Trains run regularly from Gare de l’Est to Épernay, with a journey time of approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Trains are comfortable and easy, and Épernay station is walkable to many hotels.
By Car
Driving from Paris to Épernay takes around 1.5 hours. Car hire is available from both CDG and central Paris. Parking is available throughout Épernay and at the château.
Transportation for Wedding Events
Shuttle transportation will be provided for the main wedding events from designated hotels in Épernay.
Friday, May 29 — Welcome Party
Shuttles will depart from central Épernay hotels in the early evening.
Return shuttles will run periodically throughout the evening.
Saturday, May 30 — Wedding Day at Château Comtesse Lafond
Shuttles will depart from central Épernay hotels in the afternoon.
Return shuttles will run periodically from the château later in the evening.
We strongly encourage guests to use the shuttle service so you can relax and enjoy the celebrations. If you plan to drive, parking will be available at Château Comtesse Lafond.
Full shuttle timings and pickup locations will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.

Taxis are available in Épernay, though availability can be limited late at night. We recommend booking in advance where possible.

Hiring a car is a convenient option if you’d like to explore nearby villages, vineyards, or Reims at your own pace.

Local tour companies offer guided champagne tastings with transportation included — a great option if you’d like a stress-free way to explore the region.
Walking
Épernay is compact and easy to walk around, especially along the Avenue de Champagne and between central hotels, restaurants, and champagne houses.
