FAQs

Working together

  • Turnaround time from the main consultation to you receiving your invitations is around 4-6 weeks, depending on the intricacy of the designs and the scope of the project.

However, this does depend on our availability, and we are often fully booked 6+ months in advance.
It is best to contact us as soon as you’re able to, even if you don’t want to start for some months.

  • Yes! Please do enquire as far in advance as possible though, as we may need to factor in extra time for shipping.

Please also note that additional customs fees may be due before you receive your stationery via courier. These are your responsibility, so please double check beforehand to avoid any surprises!

  • I can send the originals of your artwork at an additional fee of £100 per painting.
This fee covers the extra care and time involved in creating artwork that’s suitable to be kept - including high-resolution scanning without cutting the original, more delicate painting techniques, and the inability to make any adjustments digitally afterwards. It also includes protective packaging and postage to ensure your original pieces arrive safely.

  • Yes! Absolutely. You are welcome to just pay the design fee of your choosing, and then your final design files will be sent to you print-ready, with advice, guidance and recommendations for print.

  • Yes, I have a wording and etiquette guide I send all guests at the start of the process, and am happy to help with suggestions along the way.

  • Absolutely! The design process includes multiple rounds of proofs and a full mock-up of your suite with envelopes and any other finishes you you have opted for, so you have a clear idea of how it will come together before final approvals.

Pricing & Payment

  • There are three design tiers that are outlined with their respective pricing on the Invitations and Stationery page.

Print and add ons (e.g, save the dates, website, and all day-of items) are quoted separately. Example costs for these are in the pricing guide, which you can also find on the Invitations and Stationery page

If you aren’t sure what you are after or how much it will cost then reach out for a quick chat and we can put a bespoke quote together for you.

  • Full descriptions of the design fees can be found on the Invitations and Stationery page.

If you have any questions or are not sure how your vision would fit into the tiers, please reach out directly and I can put a bespoke quote together for you.

  • 50% of the total quote is required to secure your place. The remaining 50% is due then the final print proof are approved. Nothing is sent to print until I have 100% payment.

I’m happy to discuss payment plans, which would need to be agreed upon at the time of booking.

Ordering and Quanities

  • It is generally recommended to send save the dates around 8-12 months before your wedding date, and the formal invitation out around 6-4 months before the event. If you are only sending the formal invitation we recommend sending them earlier, to avoid clashing diaries with your guests.

Other factors that may mean you want to send them out earlier include:

    • Events spanning multiple days

    • Destination event

    • Lots of international guests

    • Events held over a public or school holiday, when people are likely to be away

  • We recommend one invitation per household plus 10%.

The additional 10% covers keepsakes, last-minute invites, and photography.

  • Most invitation suites use digital print and die-cutting.

If there are additional print processes you would like to include in your suite we are happy to discuss the options.

  • No, but if you know you will be ordering it at a later date, let me know and we will make sure it is booked in to avoid disappointment.

  • Absolutely! The design fee tiers still apply, and we can use your artwork to design a full static digital suite or a website.

Websites

  • Our RSVP management is designed for both you and your guests' ease.

Besides the essential details, you can tailor the form to ask everything you need from your guests to plan effectively.

You’ll get a notification when someone responds, and all responses will be stored in an easily accessible Excel file.

  • Our wedding websites can adapt to your vision - whether you're after a landing page and RSVP form, or an elaborate website narrating your journey as a couple and your big day.

You will fill out a wording document for each section of the website, and then we will build each section of the website intuitively based on the amount of content in each section.

You then have 2 rounds of edits to make any design changes, and we are on hand for any edits to your details right up until your wedding day.

  • You can send us your engagement photos and memories to build into the website, either within a gallery, or knitted throughout the website design. We also offer solutions for guests to upload their own photos and videos from the wedding day.

  • For our signature websites, you’ll have the chance to review and shape your website before it goes live, but won’t have access to directly edit it yourself.

If access to edit it yourself is important, or you want to take control once it’s built, we are happy to discuss options.

  • Yes! The design revisions refer to the build and design of the website, but if you need to change any of the wedding details you can message at any time right up to the wedding day and we will make the edits within 48 hours.

  • Yes. Your website will be hidden from search engines as standard, but for an extra layer of protection we recommend password protection.

  • Our design prioritises user-friendliness for all, creating a smooth experience for both tech-savvy friends and those who adore the tangible. We understand weddings span generations!

  • At the moment, we only offer websites as part of a package alongside invitations and save the dates. They’re designed around the artwork we create for each couple so everything ties together cohesively - because of this, it’s not something we offer as a standalone service right now.
