Event Details

    • Location: Sociedad Bilbaina, which is in Bilbao city centre, hence only a short walk from city-centre accommodations (google maps: Sociedad Bilbaina link).

    • Venue & dinner: indoors venue, drinks reception, sit-down dinner, and dancing and drinking (recommend against heavy drinking to make it to the ceremony the next day!).

    • When: please arrive at 6:30pm, dinner will be served at 7:00pm sharp.

    • Location (ceremony): will take place at Iglesia de San José de la Montaña, which is also in Bilbao city centre (google maps: San Jose link).

    • Location (main event): the dinner-celebration will take place at Torre Loizaga, which is c.40’ travel from the church and transportation will be provided by us – more details below (google maps: Torre Loizaga link).

    • Venue & cocktails-dinner: mix of indoors and outdoors, sit-down dinner, dancing till late.

    • When: please arrive at 4:00pm sharp at the church for the ceremony.

    • Welcome dinner: cocktail attire. Faidon will be wearing shirt, blazer, chinos, and loafers. Bego will be in a cocktail dress.

    • Wedding: formal full suit and tie (dark/navy suits, smart shoes) and formal dress.

      • Ladies: optional change of shoes for the party will be provided on Saturday (we know hills can be tiring for dancing!).

    • Τhe weather in Bilbao during July is quite unpredictable – it could be sunny or raining with temperature ranging from 15C/60F to 25C/78F.

    • We plan to be both indoors and outdoors (covered), with more clarity closer to the date.

Travel and Accommodation

    • Recommend a spot in the city centre, as convenient for both the welcome dinner (Friday) and the wedding (Saturday). Please refer to the Accommodation section of the website for suggestions.

    • Welcome dinner: it is located in the city centre, so hopefully a short walk from your accommodation.

    • Wedding: wedding ceremony will also be in the city centre, hence a short walk from your accommodation; transportation/buses from the church to the event location will be arranged by us (duration of c.40’) and there will be return buses from the venue to the city centre at regular intervals during the night.

    • If you would like to come to the venue by car, there will be parking at the venue. We will provide further details closer to the date.

RSVP and Guest Info

    • Please click the RSVP link at the website home/landing page.

    • Of course, but would love to be aware of it as soon as possible, and no later than May 31st.

    • Babies & toddlers: unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate babies or toddlers.

    • Kids: we would want parents to have a great time without worries and looking after the little ones, therefore we strongly recommend not to, to the extent possible; we also understand that logistics are tough when flying to Bilbao for several of you and therefore we would be happy to have them, but please let us know in advance for relevant arrangements.

Gift Registry

    • Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. Should you wish to honour us with a gift, details will be available on our wedding website as the day approaches.

Ceremony and Reception Specifics

    • Please let us know when you RSVP (there is a specific section in the form).

    • We can accommodate all preferences (e.g. pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, custom) but we kindly request you to let us know in advance.
