Location and Travel

Powderham Castle and St Clement’s Church are a 20-minute drive from Exeter city centre via the A379.

There is plenty of free parking at Powderham Castle. There is also parking at St Clement's Church if you choose to make your own way there rather than use the shuttle service provided.

There will not be transport provided from the reception to hotels. We recommend booking taxis in advance and have included a local taxi number below!

Accommodation

We've included links below to some local places that we are aware of and would recommend, but the list is not exhaustive. There are plenty of AirBnBs in the surrounding area - we suggest looking at the following areas: Kenton, Starcross, Kenn Ford and Dawlish.

There are also some lovely places to stay in Exeter and Topsham if you don’t mind staying slightly further out, but these might not be as convenient for access to Powderham Castle.

Mill Farm Bed

Bed and breakfast off of the A379 on the outskirts of Kenton, near Exeter. Approximately 5 minutes drive to Powderham Castle.
