What this is

This illustrated gatefold invitation is designed for couples who want something deeply personal and beautifully crafted, without the full scope of a completely bespoke suite.
The format is fixed, but the artwork is not. Each design includes original hand-painted elements created specifically for your wedding, carefully balanced with a considered layout and curated illustrations.
It’s ideal if you love the look and feel of bespoke stationery, value illustration and storytelling, and want a keepsake invitation - but feel most comfortable working within a clear, guided structure.
This is not an off-the-shelf template, and it’s not fully bespoke. It sits thoughtfully in between.

A bespoke hand-painted venue illustration
Choice of 4 pre-painted ‘doors’ of the gatefold
A bespoke border, created around your colour palette and florals
Curated ‘order of the day’ illustrations
Fully personalised wording across the gatefold
Digital mock ups, print proofs, and three rounds of revisions
Option to include printing and envelopes, or source yourself and receive print-ready files and guidance.

This illustrated gatefold is a more structured alternative to my fully bespoke invitation suites.
With bespoke invitations, the entire design, format, layout, and illustration scope are developed from the ground up with complete creative freedom. This option offers a refined version of that experience, anchored to a single format and a defined illustration scope.
If you’re looking for complete creative freedom, multiple illustrated elements, custom layouts, or a highly layered stationery suite, a bespoke design may be a better fit.

All wedding stationery printed and assembled to order

Professional print handling, quality checks, and dispatch
All stationery is printed in small batches and personally overseen from proof to delivery.

Once you have completed and sent back the wording template, your first digital proof will be sent within one week.Revisions
Up to three rounds of revisions are included. Each revision round takes up to 48 hours, depending on feedback timing.Printing & delivery
After final approval, printing takes approximately two weeks.
Your stationery is then carefully packaged and sent via Royal Mail 24hr delivery as standard.
Overall timing
From submitting your wording to receiving your stationery, please allow around four weeks in total. -
